dawn elizabeth, Owner, Lead Photographer:

dawn elizabeth has a BFA in Fine and Peforming Arts from St. Joseph University in Philadelphia, PA. She fell in love with photography in her junior year, and spent her last 4 semesters practically living in the photo lab, taking advantage of her professors' experiences, techniques, and willingness to share knowledge.

Her journey with the camera began with black & white 35mm film and has expanded to encompass sandwiched images, color film, large format film, and digital imagery. Black & white film, however, remains her favorite, as it provides the most presentation flexibility.

Her self-stated goal is to use her camera to capture everyday objects and events in ways that most people don't ever notice. That unique eye into the world is what makes Innovative Photography so special.

dawn is a member of PPANJ, the Professional Photographers Association of New Jersey.

Dennis, Assistant Photographer, Framer:

Dennis has an MBA from the Katz Business School at the University of Pittsburgh and several computer certifications. He tried the corporate hassle for several years, and recently decided to abandon it in favor of viewing the world through the lens of his camera.

This is not a strange move for Dennis. His love of photography was born during college at Oregon State University, where he photographed student weddings to help finance his education. He enlisted in Naval ROTC, and entered the Navy upon graduation. Throughout the various changes in his life, Dennis has never once stopped loving photography, taking every opportunity to pose and frame photographs of his family and special events.

Also a carpentry-hobbyist, Dennis has taken up the art of matting and framing, and performs that service for many clients of Innovative Photography.
